Vivek Ramaswamy's Campaign Vehicle Targeted by Protesters in Iowa
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign vehicle was hit by a car in Grinnell while he was in town for a KCCI roundtable discussion. The driver, a 22-year-old from Grinnell, was backing out of a parking spot and accidentally bumped into the campaign vehicle. A video provided by the campaign appears to show the driver flipping off Ramaswamy before the collision. Ramaswamy stated that he supports free speech and peaceful protest but finds physical escalation unacceptable. The driver was charged with "unsafe backing."
