Yankees weigh Grisham's role as Spencer Jones rises and Judge nears return
The New York Yankees are debating Trent Grisham’s lineup role as Spencer Jones’s playing time increases, especially with Aaron Judge potentially returning next week. Grisham has dropped to sixth in the order but delivered an RBI single in the eighth inning of a 7-3 win, while Jones has been hot and even contributed a multi-base day, prompting talks about potentially benching or reducing Grisham’s center-field reps if Jones earns more everyday chances.
