
Vistra Posts Q2 2026 Profit, Reaffirms Outlook and Accelerates Growth Initiatives
Vistra reported Q2 2026 net income of $305 million and Ongoing Operations Adjusted EBITDA of $1.767 billion, up about 30% year over year, and reaffirmed 2026 guidance of $6.8–$7.6 billion in EBITDA and $3.925–$4.725 billion in Ongoing Op FCFbG. The company noted hedging coverage near 100% for 2026 (≈94% for 2027, ≈72% for 2028), about $6.3 billion of liquidity, and progress on strategic initiatives including Helix Digital Infrastructure with NVIDIA, KKR and Kuwait Investment Authority, plus the pending Cogentrix acquisition. Vistra also highlighted strong operational reliability and ongoing share repurchases totaling around $6.5 billion since 2021.
