Memorial Day Weekend Marked by Deadly Shootings Across the US
At least 14 people were killed and 58 others injured in more than a dozen mass shootings across the United States during the Memorial Day weekend, marking a deadlier holiday weekend for mass shootings than any other in the past four years. The Gun Violence Archive has reported 257 mass shootings in the US so far this year, outpacing the numbers from the same period in the previous two years, which were already the worst in a decade.
