BTS Arirang Comeback Gets Armor-Infused Hanbok Couture by Jay Songzio
Korean designer Jay Songzio created an armor-inspired, hanbok-infused wardrobe for BTS’s Arirang comeback, giving each member a distinct persona within the “Lyrical Armor” concept. The multi-layered, sculptural looks blend traditional Korean dress with armor details to tell a narrative on an outdoor palace stage, with BTS members actively shaping colors, accessories and details. The project also involved hundreds of performers and aims to push a more Korean-centric aesthetic in future collections.
