Pixel September Update Adds VIP Widget Shortcuts, Scam Detection, and Potter-Themed Packs
Google's September Pixel Drop adds quick-action VIP contacts with badges to the widget, introduces on-device Scam Detection for Gboard and notifications (six languages; expanded to nine countries), expands Pause Point to Pixel 6-series and newer, and launches Harry Potter audiobook-themed packs with a two-month Audible trial for eligible Pixel users in multiple regions; Pixel Tablet is excluded, and the Pixel Watch gains Raise to Talk improvements and gesture integrations as part of the update.
