During Nintendo Direct 2023, new details and gameplay for Pikmin 4 were revealed, including a Dandori Battle mini-game, a dog friend named Oatchi, and the ability to set out for night expeditions. The game also features new Glow Pikmin and the objective of collecting treasures to fix the Rescue Corp's spaceship's radar. A demo for Pikmin 4 will be available on the eShop on June 28, and HD versions of the first two Pikmin games are available now on the eShop, with a physical version coming on September 22.
