The Witcher 3 gets a next-gen remaster with free upgrade and Switch 2 on the way
CD Projekt Red announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, a next-gen upgrade arriving September 29 with improved visuals and combat, a reimagined skill tree, and the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions included; it will be a free upgrade for base-game owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and will bring The Witcher 3 to Nintendo Switch 2, with future content including Songs of the Past in 2027 and The Witcher 4 in 2028.
