
Arrest Made in Fatal SE Portland Stabbing; Victim Remembered as a Protector
Rahnique U. Jackson, a 24-year-old man, has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service for the July 2 stabbing of Colin Michael Smith outside The High Dive bar in Portland. Smith, a server at Ox restaurant, was defending a friend who was being targeted for their LGBTQ+ identity when he was fatally stabbed. Jackson has been booked on charges of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon.
