
OC booster club treasurer accused of six-figure embezzlement
An Orange County woman, Julie Hanway Molina, 56, was arrested on four counts of wire fraud for allegedly stealing $411,761 from a high school booster club nonprofit between 2023 and November 2025. As treasurer, she allegedly wired funds to pay her mortgage and credit card bills and concealed the theft with false treasurer reports; she was jailed at her Aliso Viejo home and is expected to be arraigned in Santa Ana. If convicted on all counts, she faces up to 80 years in federal prison.
