Chargers Fall to 0-2 as Century-Old Stat Echoes 1926 Tornadoes
The Chargers dropped to 0-2 after a 26-14 loss to the Raiders, with Justin Herbert posting 192 yards, a TD and two interceptions as the defense struggled. Opta highlighted a rare stat not seen since the 1926 Racine Tornadoes, underscoring the rough start. With a brutal seven-game stretch ahead (Bills, Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs, Rams, Texans, Ravens), a playoff berth by the Week 7 bye looks unlikely, though there could still be improvements.
