The Cincinnati Reds are on the brink of ending the longest drought in MLB history of not hitting for the cycle, which is when a player hits a single, double, triple, and home run in the same game. The Reds have not accomplished this feat since 1999, but have come close several times this season. If they do hit for the cycle, they will break the record for the longest drought in MLB history.
