Asheville hotel on alert after possible measles exposure
Buncombe County health officials say a person with measles traveled to Asheville and was infectious at the Holiday Inn Express on Aug. 26 from 1 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; anyone who was at the hotel during that window should monitor for symptoms through Sept. 16 and contact a healthcare provider if symptoms appear, as hotel staff reach out to affected travelers amid rising measles cases nationwide.
