The probe was initiated following reports that offers were made to secure honors and citizenship for a Saudi national. The police reviewed over 200 documents and interviewed two individuals but did not make any arrests or bring charges. Both Buckingham Palace and The Prince's Foundation acknowledged the police decision and stated their focus on the charity's educational programs. Meanwhile, King Charles III received an official welcome to Balmoral, where he inspected an honor guard and was announced as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
