Raskin's Hilariously Edited Thank-You Note Sparks Santos' Re-Election Bid
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) corrected Rep. George Santos' (R-NY) typo-laden thank-you note and sent it back, stating that it's not shameful to resign. Raskin had voted against expelling Santos and defended his decision by emphasizing the importance of due process and the rule of law, stating that Santos had not been criminally convicted yet. Raskin also criticized New York Republicans for initially defending Santos for political reasons and later trying to get rid of him.
