Square Enix reveals Final Fantasy VII Revelation, due Spring 2027 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, building on Rebirth’s refined hybrid combat with a new Function Integrated Tactical Suitwear (FITS) job system for more character customization and choice. The game aims for greater player freedom in a larger open world, balanced with guided cues like waymarks; icons will indicate locations when jumping from the Highwind, but once the parachute opens players navigate mostly by memory.
