Kentury Trooper Killed in I-65 Traffic Stop; Suspect Arraigned After Statewide Manhunt
Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips was fatally shot during a traffic stop on Interstate 65 in Warren County on Monday. Suspect Emonnie Branch, 51, was arrested in Louisville after a manhunt and charged with murder of a first responder. Branch was denied bond and faces additional charges related to a probation violation in Tennessee.
