Fatal Overnight Crashes Claim Multiple Lives in Charlotte, Including a Tragic Tractor-Trailer Incident
A pedestrian was killed on I-85 North in Charlotte when a white Nissan Altima struck them, resulting in heavy front-end damage to the car. The incident occurred under the bridge at the Billy Graham Parkway overpass, and two lanes of I-85 North were closed for two hours while the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department investigated. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is yet to determine if any charges will be filed.
