Michigan health officials say residents can return to their usual salad routines, including bagged salads, as cyclosporiasis cases in the state fall (12,485 cases since June with 279 hospitalizations and two deaths). The majority of illness occurred in late June–early July and contaminated produce is likely no longer in distribution.
