Shrek 2 Remaster Leaks via Xbox, Set for ID@Xbox Showcase
A remaster of the 2004 platformer Shrek 2 has leaked through an early Xbox store listing, confirming it will feature 4K resolution, enhanced textures, and new Photo and Cheat modes. Developed by Aspyr, the game supports up to four-player co-op, both locally and online. The leak occurred ahead of the ID@Xbox showcase on October 20, 2026, and is expected to launch around November 19 to coincide with the release of GTA 6. While no official release date or price is listed, the move aligns with Aspyr’s recent trend of remastering classic licensed titles, including Lord of the Rings games, and serves as a brand synergy play ahead of the upcoming Shrek 5 film.
