Drones Strike Russian Refineries, Fire Rages at Syzran and Ilsky
Ukrainian attack drones struck two major Russian oil refineries overnight, igniting fires at the Syzran refinery in the Samara region and the Ilsky refinery in Krasnodar, with five people injured at Ilsky. The Syzran plant processes 8.9 million tons of oil annually and Ilsky 6.6 million. Russia said it intercepted nearly 400 drones across multiple regions. The Ukrainian forces also targeted a Black Sea rig, as part of a broader effort to degrade Russia’s military logistics and fuel supply.
