Kilmar Abrego Garcia to be released from custody this Friday
Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran wrongly deported to CECOT in March and recently brought back to the U.S., has been released from criminal custody in Tennessee and is headed to Maryland. A federal judge ordered his return to Maryland under ICE supervision and barred his deportation to third countries without notice, amid ongoing immigration proceedings and criminal charges related to human smuggling.
