EU countries unite against Hungary's anti-LGBT law

15 EU countries, along with the European Parliament, have joined a legal case against Hungary's controversial Child Protection Law, which contains provisions that prohibit or heavily restrict depictions of homosexuality and gender reassignment in media content and educational material addressed to audiences under 18 years of age. The case was submitted before the European Court of Justice, which has the power to impose changes on national legislation. Hungary remains defiant and vows to push ahead with the legislation.
