Arc System Works bounces back with profit, earmarks government-backed IP360 fighting game
Arc System Works swung to a net profit of 115 million yen in the fiscal year ended May 2026 after a prior year loss of 803 million yen. The company released titles including Double Dragon Revive, Absolum, Damon and Baby, Dear Me, I was…, and Goritaire, and unveiled plans for a new fighting game IP funded by Japan’s IP360 government initiative, with a simultaneous multiplatform release in multiple languages. It’s also slated to release the anime-style JRPG Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow on Sept 24 in a joint project with UnitePlus.
