Reservists from South Florida join Israeli forces in response to Hamas attacks
Israeli-American reservists living in South Florida are responding to the call to serve in Israel during the ongoing conflict with Hamas. Baraq Harrison, among a group of reservists, is flying back to Israel to use his military training to protect vulnerable civilians. While some reservists are returning home to the US, others are boarding flights to report to duty in the largest mobilization of reservists that Israel has experienced. Major airlines have suspended flights to Israel, but El Al Israel Airlines is still operating for reservists and those attending relatives' funerals. The reservists express their hope for peace to come soon.
