Apple has removed the option to purchase and access TV shows and movies from the iTunes Store app in iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2. Users are now directed to the Apple TV app instead, where they can buy or rent movies and find their purchases. This change also affects gifting movies or TV shows on iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs running the latest software versions. Apple is consolidating all TV and movie content in the TV app, while the iTunes Store app continues to offer options to purchase music.
