Y&R Appoints Writing Duo to Lead a New Creative Era
Y&R named Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor as co-head writers to replace Josh Griffith. The Emmy- and WGA-winning duo bring experience from Beyond the Gates, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital, marking the first co-head writing team since 2013. They begin next week as the cast is informed, in a bid to recapture classic storytelling and restore the soap’s No. 1 daytime status.
