Third suspect pleads guilty in Jam Master Jay murder decades after ambush
Jay Bryant pleaded guilty in federal court in the Eastern District of New York to murder for his role in the 2002 killing of Jam Master Jay (Jason Mizell), saying he helped let the gunmen into Mizell’s Queens recording studio. Prosecutors say he knew a gun would be used. The plea follows the convictions (and appeals) of Mizell’s godson Karl Jordan Jr. and associate Ronald Washington, underscoring years of legal action in the case.
