Sydney ex-cop pleads not guilty to double murder of TV star and partner
Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to the 2024 murders of TV presenter Jesse Baird and his partner Luke Davies in Sydney. Prosecutors allege Lamarre-Condon disguised himself as an Uber Eats rider to enter the couple's home in Paddington, where he shot both men. The trial, expected to last three months, centers on whether the killings were premeditated acts of domestic violence or accidental self-defense incidents during a struggle.
