San Antonio man convicted of capital murder by jury.
Jimmy Tran has been found guilty of capital murder for the 2019 robbery and murder of 22-year-old Andres Salinas behind a Northeast Side Wingstop. The defense argued that the state had no case and didn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Tran was guilty, but the state presented text messages from Tran's phone that showed he committed robbery and shot somebody. Tran has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
