JK Scott, former Alabama punter, has re-signed with the Los Angeles Chargers for a two-year, $4 million contract in NFL free agency. Scott averaged 43.6 yards on 73 punts with a 41.1-yard net average in his first season with the Chargers, and won the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week Award for his performance in the team's victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Scott played for the Green Bay Packers for three seasons before being waived in 2021, and signed with the Jaguars before joining the Chargers in 2022.
