Maddox Jolie-Pitt officially changes surname to Jolie
Maddox Jolie-Pitt has legally dropped Pitt from his surname, changing from Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to Maddox Chivan Jolie after a Los Angeles judge’s decree; he appeared remotely at the hearing, following a pattern among Jolie-Pitt siblings who have distance themselves from Pitt, with previous name changes by Shiloh and Zahara Marley Jolie. The process included newspaper ads as part of California’s name-change steps, and notes that Brad Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie was finalized in 2024.
