Silva secures third-round submission over Delgado at Noche UFC
Jean Silva defeated Jose Miguel Delgado via rear-naked choke at 2:57 of the third round in the main event of Noche UFC on September 12, 2026, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The victory marks Silva's second consecutive win and his sixth finish in seven UFC bouts. Although Silva started slowly and was dropped by a right hand in the first round, he dominated the final frame with striking and grappling to secure the submission. Post-fight, Silva declared himself the next featherweight champion, though a title shot is unlikely soon due to the scheduled Volkanovski-Evloev bout. Other main card results included Brandon Moreno's split decision win over Joseph Morales and Alexa Grasso's unanimous decision victory over Manon Fiorot.
