NFL Admits Error in Rams-Broncos Game-Changing Pass Interference Call
The NFL confirmed to Rams head coach Sean McVay that a controversial pass interference call against cornerback Josh Wallace in the Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos was incorrect. The penalty erased a game-sealing interception with 1:09 remaining, allowing the Broncos to score a touchdown and win 30-26. While the league acknowledged the error, the result stands, highlighting ongoing debates about officiating consistency in close games.
