Former banker and veteran challenges George Santos in NY primary.
Republican Kellen Curry, an Afghanistan war veteran and former vice president at JP Morgan, has announced his candidacy for New York's 3rd Congressional District, challenging incumbent George Santos, who is facing federal and local investigations into his finances and a House Ethics Committee probe. Santos has also been criticized for fabricating parts of his biography during his campaign. Some Republicans have called on him to step down, and senior Washington Republicans have reportedly said they will not let him be the nominee.
