Apple Re-labels Magic Keyboards with Symbol Glyphs
Apple quietly updated four Magic Keyboard models with glyph-based key labels in the US English layout, replacing edge-text on keys such as tab, caps lock, shift, return, and delete, and, on the full keypad models, home, page up/down, end, clear, and enter. Updated models include the Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad in both white and black variants; the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad without Touch ID remains unchanged. The glyph labeling mirrors what Apple uses on its laptops and extends beyond the US layout to other regions.
