Kings Finalize Roster with Portillo Cut and Kirsanov Return to AHL
The Los Angeles Kings have finalized their 23-player roster ahead of the NHL regular season, sending goaltender Erik Portillo and forward Taylor Ward to the AHL Ontario Reign. Defenseman Kirill Kirsanov was recalled for a preseason game but is expected to return to the minors. The team will start the season with 22 active players due to Kevin Fiala's injury, with a deadline to file the final roster by Monday.
