Far Cry Maverick canceled, new spin-off Kodlak in the works alongside Blackbird and FX TV plans
Ubisoft reportedly canceled the Far Cry extraction shooter Maverick after an insider leak; a new Far Cry spin-off codenamed Kodlak is in development and described as really ambitious, while the mainline entry Blackbird is closer to release and will include multiplayer; the franchise is also getting a TV adaptation from Noah Hawley and Rob McElhenney for FX.
