Colorado edges Georgia Tech on a late-field-goal stand in Sanders’ opener
Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes opened the season with a 14-13 win at Georgia Tech, sealing it when GT’s game-winning field goal was blocked as time expired after a chaotic fourth quarter that saw both teams block kicks and GT return a kickoff 100 yards for its only score. Sanders brushed off hot-seat talk, saying he just wants to win and turn moments into monuments for his players.
