Producer Sues Tea Shop Over Alleged Exclusion From 'Obsession' Profits
Leonora Ann Darby has sued Tea Shop Productions co-founders James Harris and Mark Lane in California, alleging they breached a 2024 agreement by excluding her from net profits on the horror hit 'Obsession.' Darby claims she acted as lead producer, rescuing the film’s edit and post-production, but was denied her promised one-third share despite the movie grossing over $500 million. The lawsuit, filed August 28, seeks a full accounting and damages, while defendants have not responded.
