"AI's Life-Predicting Algorithms: Accuracy in Predicting Death, Moves, Health, and Income"
Researchers have developed an AI death calculator called life2vec that can predict a person's life expectancy with 78% accuracy by analyzing details such as income, profession, residence, and health history. The algorithm, based on transformer models, treats human lives as sequences of events and can also predict personalities and decisions. The study used a dataset of 6 million Danish people and found that factors such as gender, mental health diagnosis, and profession can contribute to earlier death, while higher income and leadership roles are linked to longer life. The algorithm is not currently available to the public and will not be used for specific judgments or decisions.
