Capitals scoop seventh-rounder Logan Stuart in 2026 NHL Draft
The Washington Capitals selected forward Logan Stuart, 208th overall, in the seventh round of the 2026 NHL Draft. The California native spent the past two seasons with the US National Team Development Program, recording 45 points in 80 games, and will play for the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes next season. He also appeared for Team USA at the U-18 World Junior Championship (1 goal in 5 games) and is the son of former NHL star Brad Stuart. He was ranked 127th among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting in their final rankings.
