"Mastering Baldur's Gate 3: Infiltrating and Neutralizing the Steel Watch"
In Baldur's Gate 3, players can disable the Steel Watch, Lord Gortash's private security force, by completing the "Disable the Steel Watch" quest. To access the Steel Watch Foundry, players must find a walkable patch of water and sand near the foundry and defeat or sneak past a patrolling Steel Watcher. Inside the foundry, players must help the oppressed Gondians and disable the Motivator to prevent their explosive collars from detonating. After defeating enemies and reaching the Control Centre Antechamber, players face the Steel Watch Titan and other Steel Watchers. Lightning damage is effective against them, and players should focus on disabling regular Steel Watchers first. If successful, players can loot the Titan and trigger a cutscene where the foundry explodes, disabling the Steel Watch.
