Producer Michael Cash had the idea to create an album of Bob Dylan songs recorded by artists like Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. Dylan's representative, Jeff Rosen, agreed to the collaboration, and Dylan even wrote new lyrics specifically for the project. Post Malone recorded a version of the song "Be Not Deceived" at Cash's studio, but the track remains unfinished and Dylan's team eventually retracted the lyrics. Cash hopes to complete the song someday and believes the work should be shared.
