MediaTek's Helio G99+ reuses the G99 base but swaps in LPDDR5X memory to address the LPDDR4X sunset by memory vendors; the CPU/GPU cluster and 6nm process stay the same, making this the fourth G99-based SoC (G99, G100, G200, G99+) and a cost-saving mask-reuse strategy.
