Amber Heard's director and co-star from her latest movie, In the Fire, have praised her character and resilience in the aftermath of her legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp. The movie, a supernatural thriller, premiered at the Taormina Film Festival in Italy over the weekend. Director Conor Allyn praised Heard for not changing as a person despite going through a terrible ordeal, while co-star Luca Calvani described her as "generous and encouraging" with a "light" that pulls everyone in. Heard plays an American psychologist in the film who travels to Colombia to treat a child dubbed as the devil by locals.
