Vols pull off swinging-gate two-point conversion vs Kennesaw State
Tennessee extended its lead to 13-3 against Kennesaw State late in the first quarter by going for a swinging-gate two-point conversion with Luca Wolf instead of an extra point; the play succeeded after the Owls didn’t match the formation. Coach Josh Heupel said the decision was based on how the defense presented itself, not any personal feud with Kennesaw State coach Jerry Mack, and he praised Wolf and the staff. The Vols’ next test is hosting No. 1 Texas in conference play.
