Michigan Woman Arrested for Selling Stolen Designer Clothes Online
A Michigan woman has been arrested for allegedly selling over 1,000 luxury items she obtained from rental websites, making more than $750,000 by selling stolen designer items worth $800,000. Brandalene Horn, 42, rented the luxury clothing from subscription-based rental companies and instead of returning the items, she created over 170 accounts to sell them. If convicted, she could face up to 50 years in prison for charges including mail fraud, wire fraud, and interstate transportation of stolen property.
