Detroit Lions waive 3 players, including suspended WR, ahead of rookie minicamp.

The Detroit Lions have waived receiver Stanley Berryhill, cornerback Mac McCain, and defensive lineman Demetrius Taylor. Berryhill was recently suspended for six games for betting on non-NFL games from an NFL facility. McCain signed with Detroit in February after playing for the Broncos and Eagles for the last two seasons. Taylor spent most of last season on the practice squad and appeared in one game for Detroit in 2022.

The Detroit Lions have released three players, including defensive lineman Demetrius Taylor, wide receiver Stanley Berryhill, and cornerback Mac McCain.
