Maiocco Reacts to Being Cut From Hall of Fame Voting Panel
San Francisco 49ers insider Matt Maiocco explains that he was removed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection panel after the Hall reduced its voters from 50 to 25. He says there are no hard feelings, he followed the organization’s bylaws, and he will not have a role in advocating for future 49ers like Frank Gore, Trent Williams, Fred Warner, Christian McCaffrey or George Kittle. In his past votes, he notes supporting and voting for Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, Terrell Owens, Bryant Young, Patrick Willis and Roger Craig, among others, while acknowledging the new voting structure may change how selectors operate.”,
